HM&B Secured a Summary Judgment in Vehicle Negligence Case

Plaintiff, Tiffany Lauren Jackson was involved in a car accident with a cement truck existing a construction site. Plaintiff brought a lawsuit against the cement truck operator and its employer alleging negligence. Plaintiff also brought claims against various contractors working at the project claiming they failed to implement and comply with maintenance of traffic requirements and caused the accident. Plaintiff sought over $1.6 million in medical bills alone. Kira Tsiring was able to successfully argue that because there was evidence of plaintiff’s inebriation, the accident occurred in a construction zone and plaintiff rear-ended the defendant driver, her client was not subject to liability for this accident and the court agreed.
