HMB Attorneys Win Defense Verdict in Jury Trial on First Party Property Damage Claim

Mike Bradford and Julie Cunningham Aiello of HM&B won a jury trial, on a first party property damage claim in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Plaintiffs asserted that Defendant breached its contract of insurance by failing to pay for damage the property allegedly sustained when a quarry was blasting in limestone nearly two miles away from the Plaintiffs’ property. Despite the allegations that the property sustained significant damage as a result of the blasting activities, the HMB defense team were able to prove otherwise and the jury returned a quick verdict in favor of the Defendant, insurance company.
