Jennifer Miller Celebrates 25 Years of Practicing Law!

Congratulations to our own Jennifer Miller who this month, celebrates 25 years of practicing law. Jennifer is a founding partner of Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, L.L.P., a Martindale-Hubbell® AV rated® minority-certified law firm, which we are proud to say, consistently ranks among the top ten most diverse law firms in South Florida by the Daily Business Review. Jennifer is also the Managing Partner of our Fort Lauderdale and U.S. Virgin Island satellite offices. Jennifer’s two and half decades of distinguished practice has been devoted to a wide range of civil litigation and trial areas, defending major insurers and corporations in a variety of industries including retail, hospitality, distributors, municipalities, maritime corporations, medical entities and product manufacturers.

Jennifer started HM&B sixteen (16) years ago with partners Jerry Hamilton, and Chip Birthisel in her 9th year of practice and has helped the firm grow to almost 100 attorneys with multiple offices throughout the State of Florida and the #Caribbean. She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, and is admitted to practice before all federal and appellate courts in the State. She is also admitted to practice in the US Virgin Islands, and before all federal and appellate courts in the US Virgin Islands. She also has the distinction of being admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Additionally, Jennifer has been board certified in #Admiralty and #Maritime Law since 2006 and was reaffirmed this year.

Over the years, Jennifer has been the recipient of several outstanding awards. She is AV rated® by Martindale Hubbell®, designated Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) Women, named as a Top Lawyer by the South Florida Legal Guide, and recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Law and Politics. Jennifer is also a member of National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) and a member of the SOUTHEASTERN ADMIRALTY LAW INSTITUTE INC.
