HM&B Co-Hosts Annual Law Day at Brownsville Middle School

HM&B was proud to co-host the annual Law Day on April 29th, 2022 at the Brownsville Middle School HMB Law Academy. Students were actively engaged in lively and robust debates and mock trials. HMB attorneys Jerry Hamilton, Derrick M. Kelly, Esq., Scott Kirschbaum and Kyle Stewart, and staff members Amy Way and Teresa Cesarano were active participants and judges in events. Participants debated the topics of “stop and frisk” as well as the pros and cons of parents’ responsibilities for their children’s actions. It was a great experience for both students and legal professionals. The Law Academy program aims to supply students with a high quality education and exposure to possible careers in the field of law, law enforcement and criminal justice through similar programs and workshops. We believe in service and in giving back to our community.
