Tyler M. Almon a Trial Lawyer in the firm’s Tampa office. Tyler focuses his defense practice in the areas of premises liability, personal injury, and complex commercial litigation, in both Florida and federal courts. With hands-on trial experience, Tyler has served as lead counsel in jury trials for Fortune 100 companies. He has represented hospitals, retailers, and commercial clients in general business litigation matters. He has successfully drafted and argued dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss.
Tyler earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Florida, and then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law. During law school, Tyler served as a member of the school’s nationally recognized mock trial team, and a graduate research assistant for Trial Advocacy, Property, and Real Estate Transactions. Tyler earned the highest grades in Real Estate Transactions and Trial Advocacy, and served as a student attorney for the DeKalb County Solicitor-General’s Office.
Tyler serves as a faculty member for the Kessler-Eidson Program for Trial Techniques at Emory University School of Law where he teaches trial advocacy. Tyler has been recognized by leading legal publications as a top litigation lawyer, including Florida’s Super Lawyers as well as Best Lawyers, Ones to Watch. Tyler is active in the local legal community, where he serves as a member of the Tampa Bay Inn of Court, Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the Bar Leadership Institute, Class of 2023.
