Tracy Myers is an associate in the firm’s U.S. Virgin Islands office. Tracy is a trial attorney who  concentrates her practice in the areas of maritime, commercial liability, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice, and labor and employment claims. She has worked to represent major hotels and resorts, Fortune 500 companies, insurers, cruise lines, and transportation companies in state and federal courts throughout the United States Virgin Islands. Tracy is a skillful litigator known for her vigorous advocacy on behalf of her clients. 

Prior to joining Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, Tracy served as an Assistant Attorney General with the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Justice, where she represented the Government of the Virgin Islands in appeals involving criminal and civil matters before the Appellate Division of the District Court of the Virgin Islands and the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands.  She was also responsible for representing various departments and agencies of the executive branch in administrative proceedings before the Public Employees Relations Board; reviewing and drafting regulations, contracts, and leases in which the Government of the Virgin Islands has an interest; and providing legal advice to all executive departments, boards, and commissions.  Tracy also previously clerked with the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands and the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands (Presiding Judge).

Tracy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bloomburg University in Pennsylvania. She earned her J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she was active in moot court; interned in the Texas 1st Court of Appeals (Chief Justice), U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and U.S. District Court; and was a law clerk to a Chapter 13 Trustee.
