Miriam Toledo

Miriam Toledo is an associate in the firm’s Miami office.

Miriam is a trial attorney who focuses her practice in the areas of insurance services, Personal Injury Protection/ no-fault litigation and first party property. She is a skilled and zealous litigator with significant experience yielding favorable results for her clients. Miriam is also experienced in the use of alternative dispute resolution techniques, including mediation and arbitration, as a means of litigation avoidance.   

Prior to joining Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, Miriam was an associate at a state-wide firm focusing on insurance defense. Miriam has also handled immigration matters, counseling both individuals and corporations in navigating the complex immigration process.

Miriam attended the University of Central Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Legal Studies. After graduating as the valedictorian in her areas of study, she was awarded the prestigious Goodwin Scholarship to attend Nova Southeastern University Law School where she graduated with honors.

While in law school, Miriam interned for a boutique estate planning and probate law firm in Miami. She has also clerked for several assistant chief counsels at The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement Miami Immigration Court.
