Joey is an associate in the Firm’s Miami Office. Joey is a trial lawyer who specializes in the areas of general civil litigation, Personal Injury litigation, catastrophic Injury, commercial Litigation, Construction, security negligence,vehicle negligence, products liability and premises liability. Joey is well-known for his advocacy on behalf of clients and has worked extensively defending numerous major hospitality and retail corporations.

Before joining HM&B, Joey handled a variety of cases involving developers, contractors, and subcontractors in construction disputes, including lien enforcement, contract, and defect cases.  He was also a specially appointed Public Defender in Duval County, Florida.

Joey received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2009 from Florida International University.  He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law where he was on the Dean’s List.
