Nirka Zapata is an associate at the firm’s Miami office. Nirka is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice on wrongful death, personal injury, premises liability, medical malpractice, auto negligence and products liability. Nirka’s ability to quickly analyze and evaluate cases have benefitted clients in allowing them to get expedient and favorable results. Nirka is a tireless advocate and skilled litigator who has used her talents to unravel the most complex claims. Nirka who is bilingual, is able to build a strong affinity and cultivate relationships with our Hispanic and international clients. 

Nirka completed her undergraduate studies at Florida International University, and her Juris Doctorate at St. Thomas College of Law. She also completed an internship at the City of Miami Attorney’s Office. 

Prior to joining Hamilton,Miller & Birthisel, Nirka worked at a major insurance defense firm, focusing on medical malpractice, personal injury insurance defense and insurance litigation.
