Maria F. Gibson is a trial lawyer and partner in the Jacksonville office. Her focus areas include first party property, fraud & SIU, premises liability, negligent security, nursing home, and medical malpractice. She also has significant experience defending catastrophic claims relating to wrongful death and personal injuries. She is known for her tenacity and effectiveness in defending claims.

Maria has a wealth of trial experience in Duval, Clay, and Saint Johns County. She served as Judicial Staff Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Court. Prior to law school, Maria Gibson was a litigation paralegal for over ten years and was Nationally Certified.

  • Successfully defended a trucking liability case.  Duval County assigned 90% liability to Plaintiff and awarded Plaintiff $850 in a $1,6999,000 Injury Claim Demand. 
  • Obtained Writ of Certiorari quashing lower Court Order requiring insurer to produce documents that were part of an underwriting file on the insurer property breach of contract claim.  American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida v. Floyd Venable and Betty Venable (First District Court 2021)
