Laina Moyer is an associate with Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel whose practice focuses on civil litigation, insurance-related disputes, personal injury matters, and property damage claims. She brings a unique combination of attorney experience and extensive litigation support experience, providing clients with a comprehensive understanding of case management and litigation strategy from inception through resolution.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Laina spent more than seven years working in civil litigation, managing complex case portfolios and supporting matters throughout every stage of the litigation process. This experience provided her with a strong foundation in discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and Florida court procedures, allowing her to transition seamlessly into the practice of law and effectively advocate for her clients.

Laina’s practice includes representing clients in a variety of civil litigation matters involving personal injury, first-party property insurance claims, construction defect disputes, wrongful death actions, and landlord-tenant litigation. She is experienced in evaluating claims, developing case strategies, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, coordinating depositions and mediations, and preparing cases for trial. Her attention to detail and practical approach to litigation enable her to efficiently navigate complex legal issues while maintaining a strong focus on client service.Before joining Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, Laina served as an attorney and intake director for a Florida litigation firm, where she managed a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters and oversaw the client intake and case evaluation process. In that role, she worked closely with clients from the earliest stages of representation, helping to assess claims, develop litigation strategies, and guide matters through the court system.

Throughout her career, Laina has demonstrated a commitment to effective advocacy, clear communication, and achieving favorable outcomes for her clients. Her extensive experience handling Florida state court litigation, combined with her strong legal writing and case management skills, allows her to provide practical and results-oriented representation.

Laina earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida.
