Neel M. Joshi is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. He is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on insurance defense. Neel is a skilled litigator, known for his tenacity and effectiveness in defending claims. Prior to joining HM&B, Neel worked at several law firms, including one of the largest defense firms in Florida.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Neel attended the University of Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, with a minor in African Studies.  While at the University of Florida, Neel was a recipient of a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research grant, to study the effects of deep brain stimulation on Parkinson’s Disease patients. He later received a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Columbia University.  Neel obtained his J.D. degree from Florida A&M University College of Law, gaining book awards for the highest grades in Patent Law, Trademark Law, and Antitrust Law.  

Neel is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, and in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
