Evan Gutwein is a partner in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Gutwein was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He attended law school at the University of Miami as a Dean’s Scholar where he was an Editor of the Inter-American Law Review. While at law school, Mr. Gutwein was a law intern to United States Magistrate Judge William C. Turnoff and was a law clerk at a complex commercial litigation firm.

Mr. Gutwein represents hotels, physicians and medical providers, major cruise lines, product manufacturers and distributors, international businesses, transportation companies, underwriters, including major marine domestic and international underwriters in state and federal court.   He handles matters stemming from wrongful death, personal injury claims, medical malpractice suits, product liability actions, mass tort and class actions, sexual assault claims, medical malpractice suits, product liability actions, excursion liabilities, negligent security claims, premises liability claims, and claims asserted under the Americans with Disabilities Act. He is admitted to practice in Florida and New York.
