Carlos M. Llorente is a partner in Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel’s Miami office. Carlos is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in handling complex civil litigation cases in state and federal courts throughout the eastern United States. With a career spanning almost four decades, Carlos’ practice areas includes admiralty and maritime, commercial litigation, insurance, insurance fraud and SIU, medical malpractice, negligent security, personal injury, premises liability, product liability, professional liability, property and casualty, subrogation and transportation. Carlos is a skilled litigator, well known for his tenacity and effectiveness in defending claims.
Before joining Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, Carlos worked as a high exposure attorney for some of the nation’s most renowned major insurance groups. Carlos was a founding partner of his own law offices and served as Broward County Traffic Court Magistrate for 10 years.
Carlos received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and English at the University of Miami.
