Cory A. Alonso is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. Cory is a trial attorney who focuses her practice in the areas of insurance defense, primarily first party property. She is a skilled and zealous advocate for her clients. She also has experience in the use of alternative dispute resolution techniques, including mediation, arbitration and appraisal, as a means to limit or avoid litigation.
Prior to joining Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, Cory was an associate at a state-wide firm focusing on insurance defense, including first party property and Personal Injury Protection.
Cory attended Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. She then attended and gained her Juris Doctor degree at Wake Forest University School of Law. While in law school, she worked as a summer research assistant and interned at a boutique real estate law firm in Palm Beach County, Florida.
