On Thursday, Marleine Bastien received recognition for the work she has done for the Haitian community.
A Partner of Hamilton, Miller and Birthisel, Marlon A. Hill, celebrated and honored Bastien at the Yeelen Gallery in Little Haiti.
”Marleine has been a tsunamic force of conscience and justice for immigrants in South Florida and global human rights,” said Hill. “Her voice is undeniable and has influenced decision makers in the halls of government and private sector in recognizing the challenges of the assimilation and integration of all immigrants, including those of Haitian/Caribbean descent.”
Hill presented Bastien with a distinctive trophy for her years of advocacy.
