Thomas Cave is an associate in the firm’s Tampa office. Thomas is a trial attorney who focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury and premises liability defense. He is a skilled and zealous advocate for his clients.

Throughout his career, prior to joining Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, Thomas has focused on insurance defense, including bodily injury and first-party property claims.

Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas  and his Juris Doctor degree from Barry University School of Law. While completing his legal education, he volunteered with the family law division of Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, helping to provide representation to low-income individuals and families in the areas of divorce, child support, alimony and custody.

Thomas has an uncommon talent. He is a skilled flying trapeze artist and has excelled in this circus art from a young age. He has taught and performed throughout the United States for almost a decade. Thomas still shares his love of flying trapeze with the students and staff at Orlando Circus School. When not in the office or in the air, Thomas can be found on the golf course with his fiancé or spending time with their three rescue dogs.
