Sergio Torres is an associate attorney at the firm’s Miami office. He is a trial lawyer who concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury and premises liability. Sergio is known for providing thorough, strategic defenses, combining his legal knowledge and commitment to client service to achieve optimal outcomes for clients. From early case assessment through resolution, he works closely with clients, insurers, and risk managers to deliver strategic and cost-effective defense solutions.
Prior to joining Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, Sergio practiced in the areas of family law, probate litigation and estate planning. He then worked as an associate at a Miami law firm where he acquired legal techniques in the areas of personal injury and premises liability matters.
A native of Florida, Sergio holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from Florida International University and earned his Juris Doctor from Florida International University’s College of Law. He is fluent in Spanish.
