HM&B Partner Krista Fowler Acuña was a panelist at Markel’s 2020 Virtual Extra Contractual Counsel Meeting. The panel discussed current coverage litigation issues in key states- Texas, Florida, New York and California. Krista provided the Florida update on a pending appeal before the Florida Supreme Court on the recovery of consequential damages in breach of insurance contract cases, and providing current trends and legislative updates on assignment of insurance benefits schemes in Florida.
