Norma Dibiasi v. Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, Case No. 272011CA002124, in the Circuit Court of the Fifth Judicial Circuit, in and for Hernando County, Florida
On December 19, 2013, Mike Bradford and Allyson Lazzara of the Tampa Office of HM&B obtained a jury verdict on a sinkhole breach of contract case in Hernando County, Florida. The Plaintiff argued the Defendant, Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, breached its contract of insurance by failing to pay the actual cash value for the above-ground repairs to her property and by failing to enter into the contract for the below-ground repairs of her property submitted to Citizens by the Plaintiff. HM&B successfully defended the claim, proving that its client complied with Florida law and the policy of insurance.
