Julie Zobec is a partner at Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel’s Miami location. She is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice in the area of Workers’ Compensation, an area to which she brings almost two decades of legal experience. Julie is a skilled negotiator, well versed in representing clients in all stages of claims handling from pre-litigation through Final Hearing. She has worked with a variety of TPAs and the leading PEOs in the state. Julie’s extensive experience in evaluating cases has resulted in favorable results for clients.

Prior to joining HM&B, Julie was a partner at a major defense firm where she represented employers and carriers in Workers’ Compensation claims. She is a member of the Robert D. McAliley American Inns of Court and has served several years as Bylaws Committee Chair for the Early Learning Coalition of Martin, Indian River and Okeechobee counties (ELCIRMO). She is also certified by the State of Florida’s Department of Financial Services as an instructor for Continuing Education credits for claims adjusters around the state.

Julie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in Conflict Resolution and Legal Studies from Brenau University in Georgia. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Barry University School of Law.
