Stephen J. Bell is an Associate in the firm’s Tampa office whose experience and practice involves representing insurers in Florida. Prior to joining the firm, Stephen worked for a mid-size/large full-service law firm, where his primary area of focus was personal injury protection. Stephen was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, and graduated from Florida State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology & Philosophy.
Upon graduating from Florida State, Stephen attended University of Florida Levin College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2018. While in law school, Stephen served as the Social Chair of the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Association, where he organized social events for its members and students interested in Intellectual Property. Stephen was also a General Editor of the school’s Journal of Technology Law & Policy, where he made frequent contributions to articles that were published in the Journal. He was also a mentor for the Black Law Students Association, where he gave advice to minority students on how to navigate and succeed in law school.
During his time in law school, Stephen served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Charlene E. Honeywell in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, where he gained invaluable experience in the federal court system. Upon graduating, he was awarded a Pro Bono certificate for completing over 105 hours of pro bono work.
