Brook Somerville is an associate attorney at the Firm’s Tampa office. Brook is a trial lawyer who concentrates her practice in the area of maritime and admiralty law. Brook’s work ethic and tenacity have made her well suited to her areas of specialty.

Before joining HM&B as an associate, Brook clerked for the Tampa office while attending law school. Brook completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Tampa, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship. Following graduation from the University of Tampa, Brook went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude. While at Stetson Law, Brook was a member of the Dispute Resolution Board and was a part of the school’s Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team. 

Brook is originally from Tampa, Florida. She enjoys boating and has spent hundreds of hours boating throughout Florida and the Bahamas.
