John Kallen is a partner in the firm’s Tampa office. John is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on admiralty, maritime, insurance litigation, premises liability, property and casualty, and transportation among other areas.  He is known for his aggressive defense of his clients and his strategies in obtaining favorable results in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

John has decades of trial and appellate experience as lead counsel in numerous  bench and jury trials and 70-100 non-jury trials in Circuit Courts throughout the State of Florida, in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, West Palm Beach, Bay, Duval, Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Pinellas, Hernando, Pasco, Volusia and Citrus counties and in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern District Courts.  He has also litigated in New York, South Carolina, Washington State, Ohio, and Georgia.  

John received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University and his Juris Doctor from Delaware Law School. 

For 25 years, John has been rated by Martindale-Hubbell as AV Preeminent, the highest possible peer review rating in legal ability and ethical standards by this organization whose ratings are considered the gold standard in the industry.
