Laura Diaz is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. She is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice on general civil litigation, insurance defense, and premises liability.

Laura is a skilled litigator whose ability to quickly analyze and evaluate cases has benefitted clients in allowing them to get expedient and favorable results.

Before joining Hamilton Miller & Birthisel, Laura successfully defended insurance companies in first party property and general liability matters throughout Florida. Laura began her legal career at a boutique personal injury firm in Miami Beach.

Laura received her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law where she graduated with honors, received accolades for legal writing and was an active member of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review. She is licensed to practice in Florida both in state court and the Southern District.

Laura was born in the Dominican Republic and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
