Daniel José Batista is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. He is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on personal injury and premises liability cases.
Before joining Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel, Daniel worked at a small law firm in the Orlando area, where he honed his skills defending various types of negligence and breach of contract cases.
Daniel is a passionate and effective oral advocate, both in and out of the courtroom. He has developed negotiation skills that allow him to de-escalate tense situations and find favorable resolutions. He is also a skilled legal writer and researcher who has obtained multiple summary judgments for his clients.
Daniel earned his B.A. degree from Northwestern University, and his J.D. degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he and his teammates on the Florida Moot Court Team won multiple best brief awards.
