Laura Booker is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. She is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense. Laura brings a unique and valuable perspective as a Florida-licensed attorney and registered nurse with more than 20 years of healthcare experience. Her clinical background combined with case management experience enhances her ability to strategically assist with catastrophic cases and complex medical matters.
Laura received her B.S. at the University of Phoenix. She earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law. During law school Laura served as President of the Health Law Society, completed two externships at the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida: a judicial externship with the Honorable Bob LeBlanc and a mediation externship with the Dispute Resolution Services team.Laura also holds an MBA with a concentration in Health Services Management and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator.
