Gina represents public and private companies in all aspects of labor and employment litigation and training. She has served as counsel to large national and international companies, municipalities, and insurance carriers in both federal and state court matters. For 17 years, Gina has successfully represented clients in sex, race, national origin, age, religion, disability and pregnancy discrimination, harassment and retaliation cases, as well as labor matters, including violations of the Family Medical Leave Act and the overtime laws under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Gina also handles the negotiation of severance agreements, non-competition agreements and employment agreements. She counsels employers on day-to-day employment issues and conducts equal employment opportunity training.
Gina is active in several local, state and federal bar associations, including serving as Co-Chair on Committees of the Florida Bar and Co-Chairing Labor and Employment conferences, the Broward County Bar Association, the Caribbean Bar Association and serving on the Board of the Federal Bar Association-Broward Chapter. Gina is a frequently sought after speaker at conferences on labor and employment issues, including Spotting and Preventing Workplace Violence Issues at the Annual Labor and Employment Conference.
Gina has received numerous awards for her success and professionalism including: Top Verdicts Awards, Top 40 under 40 from Legacy Magazine, and recognition for providing pro bono legal services.
